SpyTools
PowerMonitor and PowerAnalyser form Aspects’ SpyTools. They spy unobtrusively on the communication between a handset and a SIM or USIM card. The data is then displayed in a user-friendly way. PowerMonitor translates bytes into English and PowerAnalyser displays an oscilloscopic view of the communication.
PowerMonitor’s and PowerAnalyser’s views can be synchronised so that the two tools can be used together seamlessly, speeding up error identification. They also integrate with Aspects’ other testing tools. For example, sessions can be saved and converted into a script in PowerScript, Aspects’ USIM and SIM testing platform. Sessions can also be saved as text files and shared with other users.
